work
TeleSenior · GPS teleassistance, in production
GPS teleassistance for older people: a wristband with an emergency button, a human dispatcher, an app for the family.
Around 50 people use it daily, as of August 2026.
Screenshots of the app running locally, with simulated data.
- Protocol server written in Go, with six GPS protocols decoded from scratch.
- Live positions over WebSocket, stateful geofencing, push notifications.
- Ordering and subscriptions through Stripe, monitoring on Prometheus, Grafana and Loki.
stack: Go, React, Next.js, Node.js, MySQL, Redis, Stripe, Docker, Nginx, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki

ERP for a crane company · stock, contracts and maintenance
Stock, sites, contracts, custody and handover records, for a company that rents out cranes.
In production, with real users.
Screenshots of the app running locally, with simulated data.
- 21 modules, from warehouse and maintenance through to finance.
- A permission grid instead of role checks, read by the entire interface.
- Signed custody transfers, with handover records generated automatically.
stack: TypeScript, React, Express.js, Prisma, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, Nginx, GitHub Actions

services
- with an open and fair business relationship, the job is already half done.
web apps and platforms
A complete product, from the first ideas to the server that runs it. For companies that need a product of their own, not a subscription to somebody else’s.
I work alone, documented properly and transparently. I am open to long-term work, and just as open to small projects that can make your company more efficient.
internal tools and ERP
Enterprise software built to measure, for companies whose work lives in Excel files emailed around or lost across folders on a server.
Stock, fleets, contracts, timesheets, documents and audit logs all fit into one platform, with faster data entry and less time spent on repetitive tasks.
machine learning and data
Models, data pipelines and artificial intelligence, all configured around what your company actually needs, on hardware you already own.
I do research in the field, published and peer-reviewed. I know what works, not only what sounds good on paper.
research
spatial heterogeneity in endoscopic ultrasound
Deep Learning in Endoscopic Ultrasound: Integrating Spatial Heterogeneity for Enhanced Diagnostic Precision in Distal Cholangiocarcinoma Detection
Spatial heterogeneity integrated into a CNN, reaching 98.5% classification accuracy on malignant tumour detection. The segmentation model, built with MATLAB’s DeepLabv3+, delineated tumour boundaries better than a standard UNet baseline.
distal cholangiocarcinoma detection
Deep Learning in Endoscopic Ultrasound: Detecting Distal Cholangiocarcinoma
Peer-reviewed work on automated detection and classification in endoscopic ultrasound.
SecureVault, passwords and entropy
SecureVault: Bridging the Security-Usability Gap
A gamified educational application: a platformer where player attributes and power-ups scale with the entropy of the chosen password, over a multi-level cryptographic protection system. Presented at the conference.
dissertation: hepatocellular carcinoma subtypes
HCC subtype discovery via foundation models and topological learning
An unsupervised pipeline that looks for clinically meaningful subtypes in liver whole-slide images without pathologist annotation. A 2-billion-parameter foundation model (Virchow2) is distilled into a 21-million-parameter student (TinyViT), trained with rank-16 DoRA adapters, roughly 0.5% of parameters. GCMAE masking hides whole histological structures rather than random patches. Representation topology is preserved by a differentiable RTD loss, and the resulting clusters are characterised with persistent homology. Subtypes are discovered with a KNN graph and Leiden clustering, then validated against patient survival. It runs on a single 24GB consumer GPU.

Application Engineer and Lenze Product Manager
Electroglobal SA, Cluj-Napoca
tools: Lenze drives, motors, gearboxes and PLCs, Python, SQL, Excel, Power BI, Microsoft Business Central
I learned to size and commission Lenze drives, motors and gearboxes for real applications, and to turn a technical solution into a quote: cost, lead time, parts. I also learned to pull data out of Business Central with SQL and Python and into Power BI, so it stopped being typed in by hand.
Electronics and Automation Engineer
Ultratech INT SRL, Cluj-Napoca
tools: Altium Designer, TIA Portal, Siemens S7, SCADA / HMI, WinCC, Profinet, Modbus, PROFIBUS, UPS systems
I continued deepening my knowledge in repairing industrial devices. I designed boards in Altium, learnt to write PLC programs in TIA Portal for Siemens S7 and to build the SCADA and HMI screens in WinCC. I learned how equipment is wired together over Profinet, Modbus and PROFIBUS, and how a data-centre UPS is maintained: battery measurements, replacing failed modules, checking the switchover to backup.
Automation Engineering Intern
Ultratech INT SRL, Cluj-Napoca
tools: PLC programming, industrial repairs, PCB design, commissioning
I learned to repair converter boards efficiently, how industrial equipment is tested and diagnosed, how to program PLCs and how to design PCBs. This is also where I did my first commissioning on real equipment. It ended in a full-time offer.
Low-voltage team, ART-TU Formula Student
Universitatea Tehnică din Cluj-Napoca, Cluj-Napoca
tools: PCB design, BMS, low-voltage wiring, Altium Designer, sensors
I learned to design PCBs in Altium for the car, to build and test a BMS for the battery pack, and to run the low-voltage wiring and sensors on the chassis. Three years, with a technical inspection at every competition.
MSc in Cyber-Physical Systems
Universitatea Tehnică din Cluj-Napoca
Dissertation: unsupervised subtype discovery in hepatocellular carcinoma from whole-slide images.
BSc in Automation and Systems Engineering
Universitatea Tehnică din Cluj-Napoca
Bachelor thesis: automatic detection of liver tumours using a multi-architecture system.
